Middle School Acting

Working the Craft          

Grades 6-8

Saturdays 1/4 - 3/1

Tuition = $120 ($15/week)

Actors will explore the core principles of acting, including voice and movement, theatre vocabulary, objectives, and obstacles, as well as the importance of risk-taking and ensemble building.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

All classes will be held at the Studio 13 (715 13th Ave E Suite 101, West Fargo)

Musical Theatre I 

Music from Moana 2 

Grades K-1-2

Saturdays 1/4 - 3/1  

Tuition = $120 ($15/week)

Students will tackle challenging (and fun) harmonies, and choreography. Through discipline and artistic expression, students will push themselves both physically and vocally, and will develop their performance skills in a multidisciplinary environment!

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

Musical Theatre II

Grades 3-4-5-6

Musical Theatre Movement

Grades 5-6-7-8

Saturdays 1/4 - 3/1

This class covers essential dance techniques and styles commonly found in musical theatre, such as jazz, tap, and contemporary. Students will learn coordination, rhythm, and dance terminology as they build confidence and practice performing for an audience.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

Youth Acting 2      

Grades 4-5-6

Saturdays 1/4 - 3/1    

Tuition = $96 ($12/week)

Beloved children's books serve as the foundation for our dramatic adventures, putting the creation of the story in the hands of the students. In this class, students will learn the elements of storytelling and collaborate as an ensemble to develop and perform their own characters. Along the way, they will explore core principles of acting, including voice, movement, theatre vocabulary, objectives, and obstacles, all while embracing the importance of risk-taking and building a strong ensemble dynamic.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

All classes will be held at Studio 13 (715 13th Ave E, Suite 101, West Fargo)

Adult Acting      

Ages 15+

Saturdays 1/11 - 3/1

Tuition = $100 ($13/week)

Actors will explore the core principles of acting, including voice and movement, theatre vocabulary, objectives, and obstacles, as well as the importance of risk-taking and ensemble building.

There will be no showcase for this class.

All class meetings will be held at The Hjemkomst Center.

Adult Adaptive Theatre          

Ages 18+

Saturdays 1/11 - 3/1

Students of all abilities will explore the art of theatre through games, exercises, and rehearsals. Over the course of the session we will work towards our final showcase of family-friendly material! This class is appropriate for students on the Autism Spectrum, those with Down Syndrome, severe ADHD, or any other developmental or sensory processing disorders.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

Preschool Acting       

Ages 3-6

Saturdays 1/11 - 3/1    

10:00a-10:50a

Tuition = $96 ($12/week)

Beloved children’s books serve as the foundation for our dramatic adventures. We will work together to create new characters, dramatic situations, and exciting opportunities for creative and heroic problem solving.

Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.
