Beloved children's books serve as the foundation for our dramatic adventures, putting the creation of the story in the hands of the students. In this class, students will learn the elements of storytelling and collaborate as an ensemble to develop and perform their own characters. Along the way, they will explore core principles of acting, including voice, movement, theatre vocabulary, objectives, and obstacles, all while embracing the importance of risk-taking and building a strong ensemble dynamic.
Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.

Students of all abilities will explore the art of theatre through games, exercises, and rehearsals. Over the course of the session we will work towards our final showcase of family-friendly material! This class is appropriate for students on the Autism Spectrum, those with Down Syndrome, severe ADHD, or any other developmental or sensory processing disorders.
Students will perform in a showcase on the final day of class, March 1.
