Designed for young people ages 8–16, this exciting three-week summer musical theatre program gives students the chance to be part of a full show from start to finish. From auditions to opening night, young performers will work together as a team to learn songs, choreography, blocking, and character choices.
In Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR., join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, and those scheming, scene-stealing penguins as they escape the comforts of New York’s Central Park Zoo and embark on a hilarious, high-energy journey to the vibrant island of Madagascar—home of the unforgettable King Julien.
Hedgerow is a fun and supportive place where students can make new friends, grow more confident, and let their creativity shine. Whether it’s your child’s very first show or their next big role, this program offers an unforgettable theatre adventure that ends with a fully staged musical production for family and friends.

The wildly imaginative world of Roald Dahl’s beloved tale, James and the Giant Peach JR., follows James and his larger-than-life insect friends as they embark on an unforgettable journey across the ocean inside a giant peach. Along the way, the group faces danger, disagreements, and daring adventures—learning how teamwork, creativity, and courage can turn strangers into family. Filled with outlandish characters, bold storytelling, and endless opportunities for young actors to shine, this offbeat production invites students to sing, dance, and act their way through a theatrical adventure as big as their imaginations.

| Teen Theatre 2026: July 13 - Aug 9, 2026 | Monday - Friday, 5-9pm | 30 | | Teen Theatre
Designed for teen performers, this summer theatre program challenges young artists to dig deeper into their craft and fully bring characters to life onstage. With a strong focus on character development, students will explore motivation, relationships, and storytelling while building core acting skills that extend far beyond a single production. Through guided rehearsals and hands-on performance work, participants will strengthen their voice, movement, and stage presence, developing into confident, well-rounded performers. Ideal for teens who are ready to stretch creatively, this program offers a supportive yet focused environment where serious theatrical growth can happen.
Classes take place July 13 - 31 from 5p - 9p
Performances will be held on the Hedgerow stage as follows:
