Being a musician takes Bravery. You have done the hard part by choosing to play music and you’re learning all the technique, theory and music you can. But music is a very personal and emotional thing. There’s a lot of “soft” skills involved in being a musician - such as developing confidence, overcoming failure, networking with people, taking risks both on and off stage (especially as a jazz musician!), and maintaining joy through the process. Being Brave is at the core of all of this. In these workshops, we will provide a space to learn and discuss these skills, as well as a framework, mental models, strategies, and support to develop them. These workshops are hands-on, interactive, and fun. Monica Shriver, aka the Brave Musician, provides an empathetic space for Brave musicians of all ages and styles to explore and grow. We welcome beginners through professionals, educators, and students of all ages. Find Your People. Find out more at www.bravemusician.com.
