Ages 7 and up Cost: $230 10 Weeks Fridays 5:30-6:30. Starting September 13. Developed for beginning to intermediate level students who want to learn more about acting. Appropriate for new students or those continuing from last semester. This hands-on class includes creative dramatics, improvisation, basic character development, audition techniques, script analysis, memorization, theatre terminology, and acting for the camera. Actors showcase their work on the 10th class. - Taught by theatre veteran Becky Croft.

Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 for 8 weeks, beginning September 11. $170. Ages 16 and up. Beginning level class for those interested in the film and television industry. Learn about working with the camera, working with an agent, film terminology, and mastering auditions, . Students will develop a monologue for a for film audition. Work will be filmed and critiqued. Taught by experienced film actor, Merritt Vann and talent agency experienced acting coach, Debra Leopard. Limited enrollment.

Ages 4-8. Cost: $205. 10 Weeks Mondays 5:00-5:50 Starting September 9. 100% laughter and fun are a guarantee! Designed for the very young theatre student to emphasize creativity, imagination and having fun while learning the basics of acting. Each student develops at least one commercial and one monologue. Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 for 8 weeks, beginning September 12. $230. Ages 10-16. Must have permission from Artistic Director to enroll. Learn acting techniques specifically for camera performance. Learn about the film and television industry, working with an agent, film terminology, auditions, and camera techiniques Students will develop a monologue for a film audition. Work will be filmed and critiqued. Taught by experienced film actor, Merritt Vann and experienced acting coach, Mark DiNovo. Limited enrollment.

Saturday December 14. 10:00-12:00. Ages 5 through adult. Cost: $25 This is a two-hour workshop designed to help actors improve audition techniques and boost confidence prior to upcoming auditions at Village Square or other theatres. Vocal techniques, expression, stage fright, how to prepare, improvisation exercises and advice on standing out in a crowd will be covered. Students will go through mock acting and singing auditions using several different scripts and will be directed on ways to make improvements. Advice will be given on choices for selection of audition music. Students will also “get into the mind of a director” to learn about what directors look for at auditions. For those who are new to the audition process, students will learn what to expect. For those who have auditioned before, students will learn how to improve. Taught by Debra Leopard and Becky Croft.

This class will be challenging but fun and will include choreography and singing for the stage -designed for the advanced level student. Solos, duos/Trios, small group and large group material from a variety of musicals. Broadway review finale! Must have permission from instructor to enroll. Taught by professional dancer, Candice Pipkin and musical theatre veteran Becky Croft.

Solo, Duet/Trio, small group and large group material from a variety of musicals.. Singing and Dancing experience is not necessary. Broadway Review Finale!
