A Star is Born! 12 1

This 3 day intensive will focus on healthy technique of voice through a repertoire of Broadway songs. Taught by Megan Jensen, certified K-12 Music Instructor, 15+ years private voice and instrument instruction, and local performer.

Class will meet on Saturdays -  Feb 15th, March 15th and April 26th. 

Grades 4th-7th will meet from 9:30 am-11:00 am 

Cost - $110

Special Effects Make Up Workshop 10 1

Students will learn special effects makeup techniques  using products you would find in your own kitchen! Topics include: making realistic looking bruises, aging and prosthesis. Class taught by Jennifer Simmons, Theater teacher at Gilbert High School, Veteran Actor with over 30 years experience acting & teaching and an award-winning playwright! 

Date- March 22nd

Grades 7th-12th- 1:00 pm -3:00pm

Cost- $50

Technical Theater- Special Techniques Stage Painting Workshop 12 5

Learn the art of stage painting including faux techniques. Topics include painting faux brick, wood and marble. Class taught by Jennifer Simmons, Theater teacher at Gilbert High School, Veteran Actor with over 30 years experience acting & teaching and an award-winning playwright!

Through the Eyes of a Villain, Rewriting Their Story 10 2

8 week course - Students reinterpret known and not so known villains through their own perspectives. Each week students will pick and explore a new villain character and rewrite their story. Class will include mock interviews, role play, and improv skill techniques. Taught by Jessica Thrift, Meadow Glen Elementary Choral & Show Director. 

Dates- Thursdays, February 13th through April 10th (No class on March 27th)

Grades 4th-7th- 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
