ACTING for Teens/Adults 6:00-7:00 18 12

Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 for 8 weeks, beginning October 6th. $150. Ages 14+. Class is designed for acting students of all levels of experience who want to explore different acting methods and techniques, and grow as actors. Basic acting skills and concepts. If you have always wanted to learn more about acting... Come explore acting! Taught by veteran actor, Merritt Vann. Limited enrollment. 

Act Up- Acting Workshop 5:50-6:50 20 0

Ages 7 and up Cost: $175 8 Weeks Fridays 5:50-6:50. Starting September 30. Developed for beginning to intermediate level students who want to learn more about acting. This hands-on class includes creative dramatics, improvisation, basic character development, audition techniques, script analysis, memorization, theatre terminology, and acting for the camera. Actors showcase their work on the 8th class. - Taught by Mark DiNovo and Artistic Director,  Debra Leopard

Act Up II- Acting Workshop 6:00-7:00 16 8

 Mondays, 6:00-7:00 for 10 weeks, beginning September 12. $230. Ages 8-15. This is a class designed for the student who has some stage experience or has had a class before. Students will learn acting techniques, character development, building confidence, memorization techniques, method acting, movement for the stage and script analysis.  Performance showcase on the 10th class. Taught by veteran actress Vicky Jackson

Audition Workshop 3:30-5:30 35 30

Saturday , December 3. 3:30-5:30 Ages 6 through adult. Cost: $25 This is a two-hour workshop designed to help actors improve audition techniques and boost confidence prior to upcoming auditions at Village Square or other theatres. Vocal techniques, expression, stage fright, how to prepare, improvisation exercises and advice on standing out in a crowd will be covered. Students will go through mock acting and singing auditions using several different scripts and will be directed on ways to make improvements. Advice will be given on choices for selection of audition music. Students will also “get into the mind of a director” to learn about what directors look for at auditions. For those who are new to the audition process, students will learn what to expect. For those who have auditioned before, students will learn how to improve. Taught by Debra Leopard and Ara-Viktoria McKinney-Bookman

Dialect Workshop 10:00-12:00 am 20 13

Two hour class on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00-12:00 (morning). $25.. Ages 9 and up. Learn how to do stage dialects by learning the Phonetic Alphabet, learning how dialects work, and how to do basic stage British Dialect. Great gerneral overview of stage dialects. Minimum of 5 students needed for class to make. Taught by Artistic Director, Debra Leopard. 

KIDS ACT- Acting Workshop 5:00-5:45 12 1

Ages 5-8. Cost: $150. 8 Weeks Fridays 5:00-5:45. Starting September 30. 100% laughter and fun are a guarantee! Designed for the very young theatre student to emphasize creativity, imagination and having fun while learning the basics of acting. Basic Musical Theatre techniques included!  Each student develops at least one commercial and one monologue.  Showcase given at the end of the semester on last day. - Taught by Artistic Director, Debra Leopard and Mark DiNovo. 

Musical Theatre-Advanced 6:00-7:00 16 8

Ages 11-18 Cost: $230.  Tuesdays 6:00-7:00. Starting September 20th for 10 weeks. A class designed for the serious acting student with an emphasis on Musical Theatre. This class will be challenging but fun and will include choreography and singing for the stage -designed for the advanced level student. Solos, duos/Trios, small group and large group material from a variety of musicals.  Taught by professional dancer/singer/actress Candice Pipkin 

Musical Theatre- Beginning/Intermediate 5:00-6:00 16 0

Ages 6-10 Cost: $230. 10 Weeks Tuesdays 5:00-6:00. Starting September 20 for 10 weeks. A class designed for the serious acting student with an emphasis on Musical Theatre. This class will be challenging but fun and will include choreography and singing for the stage designed for the beginning to intermediate level student. Solo, Duet/Trio, small group and large group material from a variety of musicals.. Singing and Dancing experience is not necessary. Continuing from last semester or new students welcome. Broadway Review Finale showcase on last class! Taught by professional dancer/singer/actress Candice Pipkin 

One Hour- Private Acting

One full hour of private acting, voice and diction, audition prep or public speaking lesson with Artistic Director  Debra Leopard. $50. Must schedule with instructor prior to enrolling.

One Hour Private Acting for the Camera

One hour private acting for the camera, or audition prep and filming with professional actor Merritt Vann and professional acting coach, Debra Leopard. Must schedule with instructor prior to enrollment. $50

Private Acting-half hour

30 minute private acting, audition coaching or public speaking lesson with Artistic Director Debra Leopard. $40. Must schedule with instructor prior to enrolling.
