This Cooney Kids Club will provide a creative environment that will enhance and reinforce age appropriate art skills. Young artists will dig into this year's studio theme, Earth to Sky, as they experiment with various materials. Projects will be designed to offer self-expression and growth, while learning to connect and cooperate with each other. Taught by Jordan Fields, the age for camp is K-5th grades and runs Tuesdays from September 12 through December 12, 2023. Note that there will be no Kid's Club on October 31 or November 21.

Our clay classes always fill up so we are offering a Clay Club for 4 weeks, with 8 classes and 24 hours of instruction by Kelly Chapin-Hagen. Join us as we focus on form, function and surface while using a variety of hand-building techniques such as slab, coil, sculpting, casting, surface and texture. This club is available for those 18 years of age to Adult and begins on September 27 and runs on Sundays and Wednesdays through October 22, 2023. Cost is $240. Registration is limited to 12 people.

This Cooney Arts Academy is for grades 6-12. Students will delve into their imaginations to develop and create cartoon characters. The classes will focus on figure drawing, animation and creativity as each artist strives to express themself through drawing and mixed media. Taught by Kelsey Raines, these classes are Saturdays from October 7 through October 28, 2023.

Cooney Arts Academy is a place for young artists (K-5th grades) to hone in on their art skills, develop their techniques and explore with materials not always available in a traditional classroom. All creatively driven students who are looking to grow their love for art and collaborate with like-minded artists will explore through mixed media projects that are inspired by nature and the world around us. Taught by Kelsey Raines, these classes are Saturdays from October 7 through October 28, 2023.

We had 2 pop-up stained glass classes last spring and we've heard you want more. This 4 week create club will offer 24 hours of instruction by Mike Shukers. This class will focus on pattern, color and texture while developing a variety of stained glass techniques. The first 2 session will be set aside for skill building projects, then classes will open up to a format that will create a final project. This club is designed for 18 year olds to adults. Maximun registration is 12 participants. Cost is $240 for 8 classes. These classes run Sundays and Wednesdays from October 25 through November 19, 2023.

Who says cursive is out? Maddie Westermier will share with us her love for making all things beautiful by putting pen to paper. After practicing the Art of Calligraphy, we will create positive affirmation notecards to take home. Light bites will be on the table as well. Class is held on November 16, 2023. Adults 21+ only.

Shelly Kempton will show us how to turn vintage Christmas sheet music into a framed Masterpiece. And if that isn't enough . . .Ho, Ho, Ho . . .Pour the Merlot. Class is held on December 21, 2023. Adults 21+ only.
