Students will be given sides and paired with a scene partner to work on developing and improving cold reading skills. Students will develop skills to make choices quickly and effectively through script analysis and learning to "live" in the moment. Come join us for an evening of exploration and learning and having fun along the way. |
| Basics of Qlab- Audio- Oct 13 | 7pm | 20 | 20 | Come join LAT Artistic Director and designer Becca Parker to learn the basics of Qlab. This software is quickly becoming industry standard in theatres from community to Broadway. Laptop computer that can run Mac OS helpful but not required. |
| Audition Workshop- Dec 15 | 7pm | 20 | 20 | Come dust off that old monologue or song, or try out some new material! This open workshop is designed to give actors of all experience levels the opportunity to work potential material for any audition in an open workshop setting. Please note, this is not a workshop to teach you how to audition. It is designed to help you prepare for auditions. Our directors will give you feedback and assistance with making sure your material is ready to wow at any audition. |
