Mariposa Theatre for Young Audiences is excited to announce digital summer camps!
These camps are specifically created for an online and screen-based medium with a live teaching artist to guide your child step-by-step through the process.
All camps are held Monday-Friday on the dates and times listed.
Each camp is tailored to the age we are serving, through time commitments, goals, and subject material of the class.

| Story Adventures | | 15 | | FOR GRADES 2-5
Students will develop their ability to build character and tell stories through text, and movement. They will play theatre games and learn to collaborate through an online platform. Students will understand basic theatre terminology and will work together developing a story to perform for family and friends. Camp will be conducted live online as well as through resources and activities sent digitally.
This camp is one week long, Monday-FridayAugust 3-7, 2020. Cost per Session is $110. |

Students will use creative drama and classic theatre techniques with a focus on improvisation and characterization. Students will be able to work on and/or create scripted and improvised scenes to share with family and friends. Camp will be conducted live online as well as through resources and activities sent digitally.
This camp is one week long, Monday-Friday August 10-14, 2020. Cost per Session is $130. |

Each week, students will work with a teaching artist to dig deep into a story through acting and music. They will play theatre games and explore how to create characters and retell a story. Camp will be conducted live online as well as through resources and activities sent digitally.
This camp is one week, Monday-Friday July 27-31, 2020. Cost per Session is $110. |
| Teen Acting Intensive | | 10 | | FOR GRADES 9-12
Join us this summer to create a brand new production in 1-week! The final performance will take place virtually! This fast-paced workshop produces a production in 1 week. Students will work with a professional director and receive training and guidance to bring their masterpiece to life.
The camp will end with a virtual presentation to be shared with students, families, and friends.
Students will join their instructor via ZOOM 11:00-12:00, working lunch break from 12-12:30, ZOOM 12:30-2:00 p.m. Students will also receive a pre-recorded lesson to complete.
