Always wanted to learn more about acting? This entry-level class is designed to share the art of acting with adults who want to foster their creative talents in a performance setting. A combination of scripted and non-scripted work will stretch your imagination and challenge your creativity. Classes are taught by accredited teachers with a B.A. or Master's degree in theatre who have teaching experience and work in the professional theater world.

In this exciting workshop, students will develop and perform a play of their creation. The students will take creative control as they are guided in writing an original script. Their creative interests will be peaked as they take on all aspects of producing their masterpiece, from designing the set, sound, props, and costumes to assistant directing, stage managing, and acting. Students gain confidence and fundamental life skills as they practice teamwork and ensemble building. Each workshop is different, and every production is unique! Classes are taught by accredited teachers with a B.A. or Master's degree in theater who have teaching experience and work in the professional theater world. Class culminates in a presentation to family.

Best for children ages 9-13, depending on the child. Class culminates in a presentation to family.

Students will learn improvisation is a fun team sport! In this class, students will explore the fun and accessible tools actors utilize to create characters and develop relationships for the stage. In addition, students will experience the joy of creative risk-taking and discover newfound confidence and appreciation for the fearless actor. Class will also include a more in-depth study of staying in the moment as actors experiment with long-form improv and theatre sports.
