This one-day workshop is a fun crash course into an everyday wearable - a set of stacking rings! In Stackable Rings you’ll learn to make a stack of hand-textured sterling silver rings. With each demonstrated step, you will be learning fundamental jewelry making skills, making this a great course for beginners as well as those with more experience. We will texture, form, solder and complete rings to a desired finish.

In this 5-week project-based jewelry class, expand your metalsmithing skills through a new technique and finish projects each week. Demonstrations and hands-on instruction will explore design approaches, soldering, forming, finishing, and color application to metal while strengthening craftsmanship and confidence at the bench. Students will leave with a collection of completed pieces and new techniques to continue exploring beyond class. No class November 16.
