 | MCPKids! Stage Combat Workshop | 9am-12pm | 30 | 26 | Join MCPKids! and guest artist Charles Burden for an unarmed stage combat workshop. In this workshop, students will practice safe stage combat practices, learn to use stage punches, kicks, and other moves safely and effectively for an audience and they will learn a short stage combat combination that they could do in front of an audience. One of the most important parts of this work is safety, and so that will be a big emphasis. This is a one day workshop, and the cost for participation is $25. This workshop is geared to students ages 10-18. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Education Director at mcpkidsmaine@gmail.com. This workshop is open to students of all levels of stage combat experience. You never know when these skills might be needed on stage and this is a great chance to learn some basics from a trained professional. This workshop will take place at Cumston Hall on Saturday November 1 from 9am-12pm. |
