This camp will meet in the mornings. Participants will look closely at Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream. They will gain experience performing a Shakespearean monologue, perform an abbreviated comedic version of the story, analyze the text, and much more.

This experience is designed to allow participants to learn about technical design and experience a variety of tech tasks that happen behind the scenes at a theatre. Run a Spotlight. Explore Backstage. Build a Prop. Do all of this and more at our Intro to Theatre Tech workshop. We are always looking for kids interested in helping on the tech side of things within our theatre world. This workshop will introduce you to all the different creative aspects of theatre besides acting. If students are wanting to be involved as part of a tech crew, this is a great way to try it out.

Participants of this experience would analyze familiar Fairy tales and then work together to write and perform their own script that combines various elements from some of their favorites stories.

Participants of this experience would analyze the Hero’s Journey. They would look at examples from Greek Mythology and write their own Hero’s Journey script and perform it.
