This class is designed for our teen home-study learners to experiment with all the tools and techniques of an actor. Students will build confidence through dramatic play with pantomime, improvisation, character development, monologues, and scene work. This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their communication and cooperation skills within a creative community.

Back from the dead, OCT’s long-beloved Halloween-themed youth cabaret returns to haunt new generations with its frightful delights. Our teen cast will perform gleefully ghoulish, fearfully funny songs, scenes, and monologues, while audiences get in the spirit for the spookiest of holidays with coffee and sweet fall treats. Masks and puppets will assist in terrorizing all victims. Bring your boo: Performances will be held October 25-27 at OCT.

To be or not to be a great actor… Acclaimed actor Tim Mooney will lead students through an exploration of voice, movement, and acting techniques to help you develop your rehearsal practice and strengthen your actor's toolkit. The workshop provides a lively, collaborative environment, offering practical insights into the cornerstones of classical actor training.
Tim is the author of the award-winning, wildly funny Breakneck Shakespeare one-man play series. That night at 7:30 p.m. at OCT, Tim will perform his lightning-fast Lot o’Shakespeare, a wild ride of a show in which his material is drawn at random from 38 monologues and six sonnets. The audience plays along in a bingo game, with prizes for the lucky winners.
