James and the Giant Peach - Winter 2025

For ages 11 - 17  James and The Giant Peach - Winter 2025

From the book by Roald Dahl • Dramatized by Richard R. George

In England, poor young orphan James has an unhappy life with his two cruel aunts until he meets a quirky gang of insects. James and his new friends escape and set sail on an amazing adventure: a journey of delicious dangers and delights across the ocean to New York City – in a magical flying peach. This creative dramatization of the beloved tale is full of fantasy, whimsical imagination, and colorful characters. Take a bite – it’s just peachy!

As The Academy’s gift to the community, in collaboration with the Marion County Literacy Council, we offer this as a non-tuition-based performance opportunity.
