For ages 6 - 8  ARTS FOR ALL TOO - Summer 2026

Saturdays; June 13, 20, 27 & July 11 • 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Arts For All Too camp is an inspiring and engaging educational environment for our youngest performers, designed to address all aspects of the live theatre experience at a developmentally appropriate level through active participation and ensembleship. Students will explore acting, dance, music, and art through expertly guided and collaborative activities, culminating in a final sharecase which reflects our young artists’ hard work and emerging skills.

Students will explore the power of their voices and bodies to communicate ideas and convey emotions via beginning acting techniques, creative storytelling, vocal exploration with text and music, and self-expressive movement activities.

Creating the visible context for a performance is equally important in theatrical storytelling. The Arts For All Too immersive experience exposes young learners to various technical aspects of live theatre, from scenic painting techniques to lighting and props.

Under the guidance and with the encouragement of The Academy’s teaching artists, nothing is as exciting as the creativity, self-confidence, and artistic growth found in the living, breathing space of Ocala Civic Theatre.

ACTING: Explore the excitement of creating vivid characters through fully realized storytelling, utilizing techniques aimed at liberating imagination and honing the theatrical mind.

MUSIC: Cultivate and advance musicianship and expression through introduction to music theory and vocal ensemble work.

DANCE: Develop a functional understanding of the body and spatial/sensory awareness through an introduction to theatrical movement.

ART: Discover and experiment with behind-the-scenes technical arts skills which transform a bare stage into a dazzling, showstopping performance environment.
