This class helps students to develop an appreciation for the entire process of acting. It differs from foundational acting studies as it focuses on applying acting techniques to specific scene performances. Actors will improve their ability to craft characters, try different things in a low-pressure environment, explore different techniques, and refine skills such as timing, listening, reacting, etc. The class also helps actors learn how to take direction and improve communication with coaches, directors, and casting directors. Materials will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their communication and cooperation skills within a creative community.

Come fight the good fight! In this intensive unarmed fight course, learn how to perform dramatically effective fights for the stage that are thrilling to audiences and safe to perform over and over again. You’ll learn everything from slaps and punches to headlocks and hair-pulls – everything you’ll need to kick butt on the stage! All skill levels and abilities are welcome. Students must wear closed-toed shoes (no Crocs) and comfortable clothing for ease of movement.
