A class focusing on the fundamentals of being a stage actor - being seen, heard and not bumping into the furniture. Topics will include how to warm up, cheating out and space awareness, vocal projection and diction, filling the space, acting with truth and intention, and scene analysis. Creativity, Coordination, Strength, Flexibility and Fun!
Each week our Artsey Acrobats will start class by designing amazing mixed media masterpieces in the style of multiple artists: VanGogh, Mondrian, Picasso, Monet and More! Then Acrobatic Skill Stations will be practiced emphasizing the movement, lines and shapes of the Artwork created earlier in class.

An introduction to the characters, style and world of the Commedia dell’ Arte, a 16th century Italian masked comic form which has impacted comedy ever since. Fast-paced, physical, irreverent and revolutionary, Commedia will play a big role in this Spring’s Teen Rep production. This is a great opportunity to get a head start on the spring, and to learn where the roots of so much contemporary comedy come from.
