Dinosaurs Before Dark Kids - Ages 5-10

2 week production camp – June 30-July 12, 2025

Siblings, Jack and Annie, discover a tree house full of books while exploring one afternoon. Jack looks through a book about dinosaurs and wishes he could see a real one. Suddenly, the wind begins to blow and the tree house starts to spin wildly. When it finally stops, Jack and Annie open their eyes to find they have been transported back to the time of the dinosaurs. Jack and Annie have a harrowing adventure, befriending some dinosaurs along the way as they try to make their way back home.

Disney's Dare to Dream Jr. - Ages 11-14 

3 week Production Camp - June 30-July 20, 2025

This three week camp will take our older kids on a fantastic musical review adventure with this brand new show by Disney! Participants will make props, scenic elements, and costume pieces, while each being featured in some of the most beloved music of Disney modern classics.

Ages: 11-14

Dare to Dream Jr - Teen Cast

3 Week Production Camp - June 30-July 20, 2025

This three week evening camp is for our teens ages 14-18! Participating teens will work with vocal coaches and choreographers to produce Disney's brand new musical review - Dare to Dream JR, and will have two performances at Hoover.  We're excited to offer this opportunity for our older teens!

Ages: 14-18

Rehearsals: Monday-Friday, 5:00-8:00pm, June 30-July 20, 2025

Jr Theater Camp - "Secret Life of Snow People!"

One week performance camp – July 7-11, 2025

Have you ever wondered if a snowman could sing?  Do the snow people we make each year ever have dance parties?  Join Playful People Purple crew this summer for an original short production - Secret Life of Snow People!  Let it snow this summer, and stay cool!

With help from the kids, an original story will be written and made into a short performance with props and costume pieces made in camp.

Ages 4-7

The Knight at Dawn Kids - Ages 5-10

2 week production camp - July 14-26, 2025 

The two siblings, Jack and Annie, return to visit the magic tree house. As they read a book about knights and the middle ages, Annie is intrigued by the Black Knight and the mysterious quest one must successfully complete before becoming a knight. When she wishes to visit the castle in the book, the siblings are whisked away to medieval times. They set off to learn more about the Black Knight and his quest, experiencing a grand medieval feast, escaping through secret tunnels and dancing with enchanted suits of armor, all in an effort to find their way back home.

Jr Theater Camp - "Fairytale Theater!"

One week performance camp – July 14-18, 2025

With so many fun stories and fairytales from around the world, we are going to have an absolute blast exploring different versions, making our own props, and writing our own fairytale!  

With help from the kids, an original story will be written and made into a short performance with props and costume pieces made in camp.
