This hike is a guided wilderness bushwhack through some of Allegany's mostly unknown and seldom visited old growth forests, a couple of which are among the largest remaining intact ancient forests in the Northeast. Amble through enchanting landscapes where you’ll see some of the largest and tallest trees in the region, picturesque mossy-bouldered creeks featuring many small waterfalls, intriguing root formations and much more. These areas are unique and wondrous, a world left to it's own devices, largely unaltered by man. |

She will guide you through their cultivation, and we'll discuss delicious and safe uses of each species. Each participant will practice seed scarification and cold-moist stratification and take home prepared seeds for spring planting (rose mallow and nodding onion). |

This interactive workshop will guide participants through a warm-up routine addressing proper posture, breathing, intonation, vowels, resonance, and character that can be used daily to improve and sustain good vocal health. The class will open with a discussion on vocal cord function, and the proper habits/behaviors that go into sustaining life long vocal hygiene. Participants will work through a common popular song as a group while applying these ideas/techniques. At the end, each member will leave with a deeper understanding of their own voice and how to use it efficiently without strain, tension, or fatigue. Please come hydrated and ready to sing!
