| Junior Competition Prep Classes | Mondays, Jan. 13th-Feb. 24th | Age Range: Grades 4-8
Description: Sharpen your theatre performance skills in a fun and friendly envionment! All students will work on a Monologue, Duologue, Musical Theatre Solo, or Musical Theatre Duet to prepare for the ACT Theatre For Youth Festival in Montgomery. Transportation to and from the festival is required. All students are encouraged to compete but may take the class for educational purposes only.

| The Acting Lab (Adult Session) | Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 | Age Range: 19+
Description: Contemporary scene for serious learners of all experience levels. Whether you want to learn basic acting technique or expand your range as a performer, The Acting Lab is for you. All students will be assigned a scene and partner and engage and present their work weekly. Topics include: script analysis, physicality/blocking, listening/responding, characterization, voice/speech, Meisner technqiue, style and improvisation. The class will end with an informal presentation for invited guests.

| Private Coaching | | Register for one-on-one acting coaching with SEACT Program Manager and MFA-trained actor Billy Hutto. Billy will shape each hour-long session around your personal goals. Private coaching is open to all ages and can be used for: theatre roles, TV/film roles, show auditions, college auditions, competitions, public speaking engagements, or just-for-fun/educational purposes. After you register, Billy will contact you to get a clearer understanding of your goals and book your first session. The goal of private coaching is to find ease and confidence in your acting while developing a personal process that will serve you in performance contexts and beyond. Billy specializes in the Meisner technique, Shakespearean performance, and Edith Skinner's approach to voice, speech, and dialects.
Instructor Biography: Billy is SEACT's Program Manager, providing leadership and oversight of youth and education classes for the organization. A theatre actor, director, and educator, he has acted on professional stages including Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Trinity Repertory Company, The Theatre At Monmouth, and Island City Stage. Billy holds a BFA in Drama from New York University, an MFA in Acting from Brown University, and an MSEd in Secondary English Education from Troy University. He also teaches Theatre and Speech courses at Troy University’s Dothan campus.
