Take that creative spark and learn how to spin it into fun onstage! Have fun with a week of improv learning games, skills, and collaboration. Get out of your head and onto the stage! Because of the nature of the camp, you can take it multiple times with lots of new games, scenes, and fun each week!

Shakespeare Camp

Shakespeare was not meant to be taught in a classroom, but to be experienced live. Students will get the opportunity to learn how to perform a Shakespeare piece, not just interpret it. Each student will work for a week on refining an iconic speech from one of Shakespeare plays. We will be melding classical language with modern technique, with the ultimate result being a Shakespeare showcase, and a monologue that you can confidently present at auditions.

Theater Devising Camp

Students will work as a collaborative ensemble, each of them taking on the role of a playwright, a director, and an actor, in order to produce a piece of theater in only one week. Students will be asked to engage in the world around them, to respond to current events, and to produce a show that reflects the age we all live in. This camp is really what you make of it!

Over two weeks of camp, students ages 9-14 will learn to turn the creative ideas in their head into a real play! Students will work together to write a play over the course of a week with guidance from the instructors. In the second week, students will take the play they wrote and bring it to the stage! They'll be writers, actors, and behind the scenes tech all in one!
