Accents Around the World with Tiffany Conner, July 20-24 11:00am-12:00pm 8

Students will learn one monologue or scene each week in a different accent from plays written in these dialects.  Monday: monologue/scene chosen, accent basics discussed.  Wednesday: accent techniques and monologue practice.  Friday: practice and perform for the class.

Students will need a video recording device and the ability to download free editing apps.  

Classes will meet from 11:00am-12:00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the classes will be offered the weeks of July 6-10 and July 20-24.  Can be a one-time stand-alone class or attend both weeks and learn a new accent each week. $60/week

Building Blocks of Acting with Brian Chambers, July 20-24 12:00-1:00pm 8

In this class we will learn to acquire and effectively apply theatre terminology.  Students will develop confidence, spontaneity, sensitivity, and imagination through acting exercises.  Learn basic stage direction as well as the workings of a theatre and strengthen vocal ability with scene work.  Students will be introduced to techniques from Miesner/Stanisvolsky and explore realistic acting through clear, interesting and compelling CHOICES in the work.  Above all, have fun while developing a deeper appreciation for theatre.

Students will be asked to prepare a 1 minute monologue as their final project at the end of the week.  They are encouraged to choose their own 1 minute monologue, but if needed, one can be provided.

Class meets from 12:00-1:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and is offered July 13-16, July 20-23, July 27-30.  It can be taken as a stand-alone one-week course or can be built upon by attending all three weeks. $75/week

Classical Techniques for Modern Singers with Sydney Fabregas, July 20-24 9:00-11:00am 8

This is a performance-based class for students interested in developing a more mature sustainable sound.  Students will learn how to properly evaluate a song in order to execute it the way they wish.  They will focus on breath support, emotive reasoning and balance.  

Students will need a list of songs they want to learn or have already begun to learn, preferably from classical musical theatres shows such as My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, West Side Story and plenty of others.

Your music will need to be printed, and you will need different color highlighters and a pencil.  

Class will meet Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:00am.  Cost is $100 for the week.

Intro to Lighting Design with Mason Delman, July 20-24 12:00-2:00PM 10

For any and all skill levels! We will spend the first day talking about the basics of design and what it means to be a collaborative member of the process. Day two will be focused on the tools a lighting designer has at their disposal and how those tools can be used to help tell the story. Day three will largely be spent talking about how a lighting system is set up, tracing power and data all the way from the power plant to the lighting fixture itself. Day four will be about learning the specific lighting fixtures...what can they do? How do they differ from one another? The final day will be about reading and interrogating a script, ending with a conceptual viewpoint for the lighting of the show. We will design lights for a short play andeach give a presentation of our ideas and designs.

Class meets Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00pm and is being offered July 20th-24th & July 27th-31st. $100/week. 

Makeup Design With Maddy Lamb, July 20-24 10:00am-12:00pm 10

Students will be expanding their level of thinking by using makeup to create designs based on research and learning techniques. Students will research and learn techniques needed to complete designs. 

This class will meet Monday June 6th through Thursday July 9th at 10:00am-12:00pm.  $75/week

**In order to take this class, students will need to purchase the Ben Nye Theatrical Creme Makeup Kit, a makeup palette & knife, and purple glue stick. Stage Management with Maddy Lamb, July 20-24 9:00-10:00am 8

A beginner's crash course into stage management for the theatre and the organization and time that goes into it.  Students will learn documents and skills needed as a stage manager in rehearsals and performances.  

A computer or tablet is required.

Classes will meet Monday-Thursdays the weeks of July 6-9, July 13-16, July 20-23, or July 27-30.  This is a stand-alone, one-week class.  $75/week

Vectorworks Drafting with Mason Delman, July 20-24 2:00-4:00pm 10

This class is for all skill levels! Students will be introduced to CAD through vectorworks. We will learn how to set up and navigate a document, change scales, create viewpoints, and ultimately draft their own bedroom. 

Class meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:00-4:00pm and is being offered July 20th-24th and July 27th-31st.  It can be taken as a stand-alone one week course. $100/week

Viral TikTok Dance Advanced with Tiffany Conner, July 20-24 1:00-3:00pm 8

Understanding nuances and techniques of viral dances around the world and how to create your own!

Students will learn a viral dance Monday, create a video concept Wednesday and record, then present Friday to the class both live as a class and their video.

Students will need a video recording device and the ability to download free editing apps.

Classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00-3:00pm and will be offered July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, and July 27-31.  Can be taken as a one-time stand-alone class or can attend all four weeks.  $60/week

Audition Prep Course with Brian Chambers, July 20-24 2:00-3:00pm 8

In this class we will learn how to properly prepare for an audition.  The "do's and don'ts" of the process.  The students will learn how to mark music for a pianist when auditioning, choosing and preparing monologues, preparing a rep book and be critiqued on a mock audition.  This class is to help understand and prepare for an audition as well as strengthen public speaking skills.

Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-3:00pm and is being offered July 14&16; July 21&23; and July 28&30.  It can be taken as a stand-alone one week course or can be built on and taken all three weeks. $40/week

Viral TikTok Dance Intermediate with Tiffany Conner, July 20-24 1:00-3:00pm 8

ETC EOS Lighting Programming with Mason Delman, July 25 12:00-3:00pm 15

This crash course style class will focus on beginner and advanced programming topics. Students will learn how to build a stack cue, work with discreet timing, and work with lighting effects. Students will learn how to program and run an ETC EOS console. (Note that much of this is compatabile with any lighting board and program, but we will be specifically using ETC software.)

This class is a one time class offered on Saturday, July 25th from 12:00-3:00pm. $50 for this course.

Students will be learning a handful of the most prominent musical theatre ensemble pieces, with opportunities to obtain solos for characters they hope to play in the future.  

Song such as: Into the Woods from Into the Woods; When You're an Addams from Addams Family; One Day More from Les Miserables; She's in Love from The Little Mermaid or Carrying the Banner from Newsies; Seasons of Love from RENT.  *List can change due to student interest.  

Students will need printed music, binder, highlighters and pencils.
