| Winds Ensemble - Spring | | 500 | 497 | The Topeka Youth Orchestras organization is proud to offer a new chamber ensemble experience, The Youth Chamber Ensemble, for Spring 2026. This chamber group is currently open to those students who are selected for and participate in the Youth Symphony, 2025-2026 season, and play one of the following instruments within that ensemble: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, or French Horn. Chamber ensemble members will rehearse from 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm on Tuesdays. Rehearsal dates will be aligned with the Youth Symphony semester schedule. Coached by Dr. Rebecca Meador (Professor of Music, Washburn University), chamber ensemble rehearsals will focus on reading chamber literature, developing small ensemble leadership skills and rehearsal techniques, as well as potentially pursuing sectional work to further support Youth Symphony repertoire. |
