IMPROV IMPROV IMPROV!
Meets Tuesays: March 25 - April 29 from 4:15-5:15 pm
It’s all about thinking quickly on the spot, building on your classmates' ideas, and, of course, saying YES to whatever comes our way! We’ll play a variety of different improv games along with a whole bunch of exercises that develop strong impulses and an even stronger sense of trust!

SCENE STUDY CLASS
Meets Wednesdays: January 29 - March 5 from 4:15-5:30pm
Scene Study involves actors taking a specific scene from a play to find the given circumstances, character motivations, and the character objects to bring the conflict of characters and story come alive in a fully memorized scene.

| THE ACADEMY | 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm | | | A STUDIO -STYLE ACTING TROUPE FOR CREATIVE KIDS
Black Hawk Children's Theatre is looking for open-minded, creative kids to audition for The Academy Theatre Troupe. This troupe of aspiring performers from 6th - 9th grades will develop and hone their performance skills while working on ensemble building through games, exercises, and projects and focusing on training and technique exploration. Through the course of the season, the actors will explore different elements of theatrical training while growing a personal awareness of their own artistry and skills.
Audition Information:
Interested students must come prepared with a one-minute memorized speech, monologue, or poem.
Additional Information:
Tuition for the second semester only is $85.00.
