Each week, children will listen to engaging fairy and folk tales, bring characters to life through movement and dramatic play, and create simple crafts inspired by the stories they explore. As the class progresses, students will work together to shape a short final performance that shares their favorite moments from the tales. This playful, story-centered class nurtures creativity, confidence, and a love of storytelling in our youngest performers.

| Improv & Theatre Games | Saturdays, 1:00-2:00p | 12 | 11 | In this energetic Theatre Games and Improv class, students dive into a wide variety of playful acting exercises that spark creativity, confidence, and quick thinking.
Each week, they’ll learn classic theatre games—many of which they can excitedly bring home to share with family and friends—as well as famous improv activities that teach the foundations of saying “yes, and…,” building characters, and creating stories on the spot. Along the way, the class may watch short clips of well-known comedic improv to see the techniques in action and inspire their own performances. With a focus on listening skills, collaboration, spontaneity, and lots of laughter, this class helps young performers develop strong teamwork and imaginative storytelling skills.

| Musical Theatre - "Wicked" | Saturdays, 10:15-11:15a | 15 | 8 | In Musical Theatre class, students step into the wonderful world of Oz as they learn iconic music and dynamic original choreography from a handful of numbers from the hit musical and movie, WICKED.
Through guided vocal work, character exploration, and high-energy dance rehearsals, performers will build confidence, strengthen their musical theatre skills, and experience the thrill of bringing these powerful songs to life. The classes culminate in an exciting final performance where students showcase their hard work through a perfectly Galindafied performance for family and friends.

| Scripted Play Performance | Saturdays, 11:30a-12:30p | 12 | 11 | In this Scripted Play Performance class, students will experience the full journey of bringing a story from page to stage.
After receiving a script tailored to the class size—typically centered on themes of friendship and inclusion—each student will be assigned a role and guided in exploring their character’s voice, motivations, and personality. As they rehearse their lines and blocking, students will also use their creativity to help design simple set pieces and props that support the world of the play. By the end of the session, the class will proudly present their completed production, showcasing their teamwork, imagination, and growing performance skills.

| Shakespeare Scene Study | Saturdays, 2:15-3:15p | 12 | 11 | In this Shakespeare Scene Study class for ages 14 and up, participants of all experience levels are invited to explore the timeless works of the Bard through lively discussion, cultural insights, and hands-on performance.
Students will learn fascinating tidbits about Shakespearean language, theatre practices, and historical context while diving into some of his most iconic scenes. Through guided text analysis, character exploration, and collaborative rehearsal, the class brings Shakespeare’s words to life, offering a fun, enriching opportunity for teens and adults in our community to deepen their appreciation of his enduring masterpieces.
