 | DARE TO DREAM Performance Camp (Grades 2-3-4) | June 16-20 (M-F), 9a-4p | 25 | 9 | In this one-week Disney Dare to Dream camp, students ages 7-10 will be part of a short musical revue featuring some of the most beloved songs from Disney movies! Throughout the camp, they’ll learn fun choreography and perfect their vocal skills while bringing classic Disney songs and stories to life. From the first note to the final bow, kids will gain confidence and teamwork as they rehearse together, all leading up to an enchanting performance on the last day of camp. It's the perfect way for young performers to experience the joy of musical theatre with a dash of Disney magic!

This two-week production camp will conclude with an enchanting performance full of fun and Disney magic!

They'll also dive into the history and culture of the time period, exploring the real-life story behind the newsboys’ fight for fair wages. Each camper will also get to make and decorate their very own news bag to complete their Newsies experience!
Each camper will receive a complementary General Admission ticket to see NEWSIES performing June 22-July 3 at The Lights.

It's the perfect way for young actors to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and experience the thrill of putting on a play in a single day!

Throughout the course, students will gain insight into Shakespeare's life, his works, and the cultural context in which he wrote, while also analyzing the intricate language and themes of his plays. They'll work on breaking down complex texts, discovering the meaning behind the words, and bringing those lines to life through scene work and monologue performances. By the final class, students will have honed their skills and performed key scenes and monologues, gaining both a deeper understanding of Shakespeare and a confidence in performing his timeless works.

By the end of the course, students will gain a deeper appreciation for both literature and theatre.

They'll collaborate with Cookie Krums Bakery to gain real-world insights into the art of baking, and even get to incorporate delicious treats into their show! By the end of the camp, they'll have a one-of-a-kind performance full of creativity, teamwork, and, of course, some sweet surprises!
