ActingUp! beginning on October 15, 2025 until December 3, 2025 (no class November 26). Wednesdays 4:30-6:00pm. Students will learn the fundamentals of theatre and collaboration with others while growing their confidence. At the end of session, students will have the opportunity to perform the Ancient Greek comedy Lysistrata by Aristophanes. In this adaptation, the women of Athens and surrounding cities, led by Lysistrata, decide to end the Peloponnesian War by going on strike. They refuse to clean, take care of their children, or bake any treats until the men agree to peace. We will have a performance on December 7 at 4:00pm (kids must be at the theater by 3:00pm).
