Meets Tuesdays, February 10th - April 21st (we will skip April 7th for Spring Break) at the Brookland-Lakeview Empowerment Center, 4:30-5:45pm
Do you find yourself wishing a story had a different ending or constantly coming up with your own stories and characters? If so, the art of playwriting is for you! This class introduces beginner playwriting concepts to our rising generation of playwrights. Students will create an original story with believable characters and dialogue by writing and revising an original ten-minute play. The final class will feature a showcase of dramatic readings of our ten-minute plays.
