During this session, all classes will involve exercises—either solo or with a partner—focused on discovering action, performing action, and responding to direction. Actors will be challenged to work quickly, make smart choices, and transition seamlessly to the next task. This class emphasizes adaptability and the ability to let go of preplanned actions, fostering deeper exploration. Through a variety of exercises and small scene work, students will engage with the idea that “ideas are free; you must be willing to let them go because they cost nothing.”
