In the ACTING SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP, over two three hour sessions, Andy Friedlander will examine the structure of Shakespearean language in detail teaching fundamental skills. Actors of all skill levels will benefit from hands on training and techniques to bring the language of Shakespeare to life on stage by exploring how the actor can use the language to create character and meaning.
Shakespeare wrote his plays to be spoken not to be read. The language is full of clues for the actor - this workshop will give you a process for finding and using them.
