Learn the essential strategies of landscape painting. Each week addresses a new landscape challenge and the techniques to excel. Investigate trees, terrain, atmosphere, depth, water, sky, nocturnes, and figure in the landscape. We will use the direct painting approach and make a painting a day. This class is a good warm-up for the plein air painting season. It offers a chance to study the fundamentals of landscape painting in studio. Students paint from photographs. This course is a fresh look at landscape and will challenge painters of all levels. Only a positive attitude is required.
