Lumen printing is a historic photographic process that goes back to the mid 1800's. In this class we will utilize plants and flowers to create unique prints with silver gelatin paper and black and white photo chemistry using UV light from the sun (or a lightbox in case of rain). We will experiment with different chemicals, time duration, and other factors that influence the final print. No prior photography experience required. We will be working in normal light conditions.
