This is not a typical creative writing class, but an opportunity for self-exploration through creative expression. We will use writing, performance, art activities and peer workshopping to recharge creatively and know ourselves and our origins at a deeper level. Writing about family can be particularly challenging, so we will read and learn about navigating emotions around memories, family, language, places, identity and all that makes us who we are. Class sessions include time for writing and feedback.
