Whether your school has a poetry slam team or not, this class from poet Sara Abou Rashed will spark in you the energy and fun of writing and performing your own work! Slam poetry is a particular genre that engages our emotions and bodies into powerful, heartfelt performance. In this class, we'll learn more about writing in this genre as well as how to become better on-stage performers and speakers, ending the class with your own performance! No experience necessary and you'll leave with a slam poem of your own. FEE: $70
