| More Information | (RAD Advanced 1) If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement. This is the fourth level of the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational classwork. The Vocational levels require a higher standard of technical ability, and pointework for girls is built into each class. Students are required to take a minimum of three classes a week to remain in this level. Class progresses from the Fall into Winter/Spring.
The Winter/Spring session provides two additional opportunities: students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Exams mid-spring, and the guaranteed ability to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May. Examinations and Recital participation will require additional fees.
Dress Code - Girls: Leotard color of choice, pink or skin tone-matched tights, leather or canvas ballet shoes, and pointe shoes. Pointe shoes should be approved by your instructor prior to sewing. Boys: White, navy, or black t-shirt; grey, navy or black tights; black or white socks with matching leather or canvas ballet shoes.
