More Information | Old school is the best school! We'll discuss inexpensive camera options (35mm, 120 box, Holga and Diana), your specific camera, film options, film speed, loading film, using the exposure meter, pushing film, on-lens filters, how to get your negatives developed, evaluating negatives, negative storage, negative scanning, printing options and much more. Dig your vintage camera out of storage and bring it to the class, along with a fresh battery (even a fully manual camera may require a very small battery for the exposure meter to function) and plenty of questions. Please give me a heads-up on the camera brand and model, such as “Canon AE-1”, one week prior to the class. In addition, please bring one roll of unexposed 35mm or 120 B&W film (based on your camera) and we’ll load it- either Kodak or Ilford, which can be delivered in 2 days from www.bhphotovideo.com. Participants will be asked to shoot at least one roll of film and get it developed prior to the second session. For more information, please contact the instructor at joe_yablonsky@yahoo.com. This class is taking place in-person. Ages: 16+ Enroll |
