More Information

Step into the magic of one of the oldest photographic printing processes! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own striking blue-and-white images using the 19th-century technique of cyanotype. Participants will prepare light-sensitive paper or fabric, arrange objects, plants, or transparencies on the surface, and harness the power of the sun (or UV light) to develop their prints.
No prior experience is needed—this is a playful and experimental process that welcomes all skill levels. By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a collection of your own cyanotype artworks, from botanical impressions to personal designs, and a solid understanding of how to continue experimenting on your own.
Supplies: all supplies are provided, participants are welcome to bring their own objects.
Teaching Artist: Selin Balci
