| More Information | Your child’s first dance class! Optionally accompanied by a participating adult, this class is an introduction to ballet movement, listening, and storytelling, The class will include a warmup, basic coordination exercises, and creative movement through practice of rhythm and imaginative sequences.
The Winter/Spring session will conclude with an optional participation in a year-end Recital. Recital participation will require an additional fee: "Tech week" extends beyond class end dates, with performances on 5/22 and 5/23.
Dress Code: Girls: Any color skirted leotard, leather full sole ballet slippers and short socks. Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white socks and white full sole ballet shoes. Our studio stocks ballet socks and gently used shoes may be available on your first day. Items also available at Dance Supplies, Etc in Severna Park (410- 647-8727).
Tuition allots up to 1 possible class cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstance. There are other sessions of Pre-Ballet 1 during the week which can be used as a make-up class for missed sessions.
