| More Information | This is a lively but structured dance class that develops physical skills and encourage creativity, expression and confidence. Through participation in these activities, children learn an awareness of their body and how it moves through space as well as expression of emotions through movement. Behind all the fun, they’ll be prepared for a transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.
The Winter/Spring session will conclude with an optional participation in a year-end Recital. Recital participation will require an additional fee: "Tech week" extends beyond class end dates, with performances on 5/22 and 5/23.
Dress Code: Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Freya leotard in Pink, leather full sole ballet slippers and pink ballet socks. Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white socks and white full sole ballet shoes. Girl’s Leotards and socks available through our studio (academydancesupplies.square.site), and all other items available at Dance Supplies, Etc in Severna Park (410- 647-8727).
Tuition allots up to 1 possible class cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstance. There are additional sessions of Pre-Ballet 2 during the week which can be used as a make-up class for missed sessions.
