1/17 ABSA Pre-Ballet 3, Ages 5-6 (WS26ABSA06)

For ages 5-6. If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement, as this class is a progression from the fall semester. This class follows the first level of the Royal Academy of Dance beginning ballet syllabus work for the young child, Pre-Primary: A fun filled dance class that introduces basic ballet technique and posture. Coordination, spatial awareness, and teamwork will be cultivated as steps and floor patterns increase in complexity. Coupled with an emphasis on imaginative movement, this class creates a balance of joy and learning which are important building blocks of a well-rounded dancer. 

The Winter/Spring session provides two additional opportunities: students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Class Awards mid-spring, and the guaranteed ability to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May; "Tech week" extends beyond class end dates, with performances on 5/22 and 5/23. Class Awards and Recital participation will require additional fees.

Dress Code: Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Freya leotard in Lilac, leather full sole ballet shoes and pink ballet socks. Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white socks and white full sole ballet shoes. Girl’s Leotards and socks available through our studio (academydancesupplies.square.site), and all other items available at Dance Supplies, Etc in Severna Park (410- 647-8727). 

Tuition allots up to 1 possible class cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstance.  No Class 4/4
