Ages 10-11. If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement, as this class is a progression from the fall semester. Students will take two Classical Ballet 4 sessions per week. A natural progression from Classical Ballet 3 with greater emphasis on ballet alignment and performance quality, with continued work in character and free movement technique. More specific strength training for pointe work. Two to three years of ballet training necessary.
The Winter/Spring session provides two additional opportunities:
Students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Class Awards mid-spring, at the discretion of staff. All students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May; "Tech week" extends beyond class end dates, with performances on 5/22 and 5/23. Class Awards and Recital participation will require additional fees.
