Ages 15+ If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement, as this class is a progression from the fall semester. This is the third level of the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational classwork. The Vocational levels require a higher standard of technical ability, and pointework for girls is built into each class. Students are required to take a minimum of three classes a week to remain in this level ; two "A" Sections, and one "B" or "C" based on placement by staff.
The Winter/Spring session provides two additional opportunities:
Students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Class Awards mid-spring, at the discretion of staff. All students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May; "Tech week" extends beyond class end dates, with performances on 5/22 and 5/23. Class Awards and Recital participation will require additional fees.
Dress Code - Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Maddie leotard in Black, pink or skin tone-matched tights, leather or canvas ballet shoes, and pointe shoes. Pointe shoes should be approved by your instructor prior to sewing. Boys: White, navy, or black t-shirt; grey, navy or black tights; black or white socks with matching leather or canvas ballet shoes. Girl’s Leotards available through our studio, and all other items available at Dance Supplies, Etc in Severna Park (410- 647-8727).
Tuition allots up to 1 possible class cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstance. No Class 4/1
