| More Information | Join Shannon Myers for a "beyond the basics" wheel-throwing course. Beginner Wheel 2 is a course is designed for students who have taken a beginner-level wheel-throwing class but are not ready for an intermediate level class. In Beginner 2, we continue to focus on throwing fundamentals, while also bringing in new techniques such as making handles, throwing larger and creating more complex forms. We will continue to explore glaze and surface decorations. Students should bring a towel, wear clothes that can get a little dirt on them, and tie long hair back. Please note, prior experience with throwing on the wheel is required.
Supplies: Your first block of clay is included in the materials fee, along with kiln firings and glazing. Any additional blocks of clay can be purchased during class or studio time.
