| More Information | This is a lively but structured dance class that develops physical skills and encourage creativity, expression and confidence. Through participation in these activities, children learn an awareness of their body and how it moves through space as well as expression through movement. Behind all the fun, they’ll be prepared for a transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.
Winter/Spring session (Jan-May) continues on the same schedule, and concludes with an optional recital. Academy Ballet does not guarentee make-up classes for weather-related closures. Additional Pre-Ballet 2 sessions available during the week for make-ups.
Dress Code: Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Freya OR Peony leotard in Pink, leather full sole ballet slippers and pink ballet socks (no tights required). Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white or black socks and white or black full sole leather ballet shoes. Our studio stocks ballet socks and gently used shoes may be available on your first day. Girl’s Leotards are available through our studio (academydancesupplies.square.site) Items also available at Dance Supplies, Etc in Severna Park (410- 647-8727).
