09/16 ABSA Intermediate (TFA26ABS82)

Ages 13+ If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement. This is the second level of the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational classwork, and a prerequisite for entering into Advanced Level examinations. The Vocational levels require a higher standard of technical ability, and pointework is now examined. Students are required to take a minimum of three classes a week to remain in this level.

Students may participate in our annual mini-Nutcracker in December. Continuing through the Winter/Spring session (Jan- May) provides two additional opportunities:
-Students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Exams mid-spring, at the discretion of staff.
-All students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May. Exams and Recital participation will require additional fees. 

Academy Ballet does not guarantee make-up classes for weather-related closures.

Dress Code - Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Laurel leotard in Burgundy, pink or skin tone-matched tights, leather or canvas ballet shoes, and pointe shoes. Pointe shoes should be fitted at a dance store and approved by your instructor prior to sewing. Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white or black socks, and matching white or black ballet shoes. Girl’s Leotards are available through our studio (academydancesupplies.square.site).
