09/10 BTM Classical Ballet 2 (TFA26BTM11)

This level is for ages 8-11+ and students should register for both BTM Classical Ballet 2 classes so that they are taking classes twice weekly. This class is the beginning of formalized classical ballet training. Class focuses include learning the sequence of working at the barre, a continuation of learning steps in the center, and stretching exercises. Musicality, coordination, and movement dynamics are concentrated on to help the dancer create a strong foundation for dance.
The attire for all classes, except where otherwise noted, is as follows: Girls: Black leotard, pink or skin-tone tights, and corresponding pink or skin-tone ballet slippers. No jewelry. Hair should be neatly pulled back off of the face and neck. Boys: White t-shirt, black tights, and white or black ballet slippers.
