Are you a creative type who enjoys sculpting (or who thinks you might?!)

Masks are all about CHARACTER; they can be used to create, exaggerate, or even hide a character.  In our upcoming production of The Caucasian Chalk Circle, all of the actors will be using original "half-masks" to help define their characters.

So, we're going to be setting up a Maskmaking Workshop, starting in mid-January, where together we will sculpt, cast, and paint more than twenty masks!  Working from basic designs, the features of each character will be built with clay over existing plaster life-casts, covered with papier maché, painted, and readied for actors to wear.

Prepare yourself for a fun (and often-messy) whirlwind of fabrication as we help to create all the inhabitants for the onstage world of this play.
