Zines have long been a tool for storytelling, activism, and community building. In this Zine Making Workshop, participants will learn the history of zines and create their own using accessible, DIY methods. Whether you want to tell a personal story, share art, or explore a theme, this workshop offers a supportive environment to make, share, and connect. Each student will get a copy of "Stolen Sharpie Revolution" by Alex Wrekk with their admission.

About the Instructor:
Taryn Hipp is a zine maker and farmer who has been self-publishing since the late ’90s, when she wrote her first zine in high school. She has gone on zine tours across the U.S. and Canada, sharing work from her perzines over the years. Taryn writes from a place of radical curiosity and longing for community. She currently writes the zine Lady Teeth and is building a zine collection for the Bethlehem Area Public Library, which will host a celebratory zine fair this spring.
