Course Price: $105
Course Description:Class begins with a brief summary of how clay was dug, processed and formulated on site of the NCC East 40. Students will learn how to take this clay and make a place setting for themselves.The place setting will consist of a plate, bowl and mug or cup. In addition, the process of firing the clay to become ceramics and how glazing is applied will be covered in this workshop series. The glazes used are also made from natural and local sourced materials including wood ash, East 40 clay, and eggshells.
