Nail the Audition
A Four-Session Audition Workshop

This focused four-week workshop is designed to prep you for the audition process and give you the tools, feedback, and confidence to present your best self—on stage, on camera, and in the audition room.

Whether you're an actor, singer, or both, this workshop offers hands-on guidance with professional insight into what casting teams really want to see. You'll receive individualized coaching, new headshots, and practical skills that will serve you at every stage of your audition journey.

Curriculum Overview

Class 1: Audition Package Review & Individual Coaching
Bring in your current audition materials:
Straight Theatre: Two contrasting monologues (60–90 seconds each)
Musical Theatre: Two contrasting song cuts (up to 1 minute each)
Combined: One monologue (60–90 seconds) + one song cut (up to 1 minute)
Please also bring a current headshot and resume.
You'll receive constructive feedback on all pieces and select new rep to develop with your coach to be worked the following class.

Students will provide their own tracks for the first class

Class 2: Professional Presence & Preparation
Refine your audition etiquette, including:
• Talking to an accompanist
• Walking into the room with confidence
• Updating and formatting your resume
• Getting new headshots (included in tuition)

Class 3: Self-Tape Techniques & Prescreen Practice
Learn how to create a compelling self-tape:
We'll set up the lights and camera, and you'll perform a 3-minute audition package on film.
You’ll receive feedback, watch your tape back, and get a downloadable link for future use.

Class 4: Mock Audition with Guest Panel
Put it all together in a simulated audition experience with real-time feedback from a panel of local theatre professionals. Gain insight, grow your confidence, and leave with actionable takeaways.
