Join us for a lively, pay-what-you-can Drop-In Improv Class taught by Inspired Acting Company Artistic Director Jeff Thomakos. This one-day workshop is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and remind you how fun it is to play.

Together, we’ll explore the fundamentals of improvisation through games, ensemble exercises, and unscripted scenes that emphasize listening, collaboration, and trusting your instincts. Whether you are brand new to improv or a seasoned improviser looking to get back in the room, this class offers a supportive, low-pressure environment where everyone can learn and contribute.

About the Instructor

Jeff Thomakos is a professional actor, director, and teaching artist with extensive training and experience in improvisation. He studied and performed with ImprovOlympic (iO Chicago)Second City Conservatory, and Brave New Workshop, and has performed long-form and short-form improv as part of professional ensembles in Chicago and Minneapolis. Jeff has taught improv at the collegiate and pre-professional levels for many years, with a focus on ensemble, character-driven work, and creating truthful, spontaneous moments on stage. His classes emphasize generosity, listening, and play over jokes or pressure to be “funny.”
