Course Description
This six-week improv course explores longform structure, genre, and ensemble-driven storytelling. Students work within defined frameworks that shape pacing, tone, and narrative arc, moving beyond short-form games into sustained, cohesive scenes.
Through focused scene work, participants build skills in pattern recognition, thematic development, callbacks, transitions, and emotional continuity. Ideal for improvisers with foundational experience who are ready to deepen their craft and discover the freedom that comes from working inside a clear creative container.
Meet the Instructor
Jeff Thomakos, Producing Artistic Director of The Inspired Acting Compnay, brings extensive experience in improvisational performance and training. His classes emphasize ensemble, generosity, and play, creating a space where students can take risks, trust their instincts, and grow quickly.
