Yes, And…

The Art of Saying Yes

A Pay-What-You-Can Drop-In Improv Experience

Great improvisation doesn’t begin with being funny. It begins with saying yes.

Join Inspired Acting Company Artistic Director Jeff Thomakos for an energizing, playful evening of improvisation centered on one of the art form’s most powerful ideas: Yes, And—the practice of accepting what’s happening, building on it, and discovering what becomes possible together.

Through games, ensemble exercises, and unscripted scenes, participants will explore how listening, agreement, and curiosity can unlock creativity, build confidence, and create stronger connections onstage and off. Rather than focusing on jokes or quick thinking, this class emphasizes presence, collaboration, and trusting your instincts.

Whether you’re completely new to improv or an experienced performer looking to reconnect with the fundamentals, this class offers a welcoming environment where everyone can participate, grow, and play.

No pressure to perform. No experience required. Just show up, say yes, and see what happens.

Notes:

  1. Please dress for movement, as the work is physical and active
  2. Class size is limited to 20 participants; advanced registration is encouraged
  3. Come ready to laugh, connect, and create in the moment
