Course Description

This improv class is designed for anyone who wants to sharpen their spontaneity, creativity, and collaborative skills. Through dynamic exercises, games, and unscripted performance, you'll strengthen your ability to think on your feet, listen deeply, and respond with clarity and presence. In a supportive, ensemble-driven environment, you'll build confidence, enhance your instincts, and discover the thrill and freedom of creating in the moment.

Meet the Instructor: 

Jeff Thomakos is the Producing Artistic Director of The Inspired Acting Company and a professional actor, director, and teacher with extensive experience in improvisational performance and training. His background in improv informs much of his approach to both acting and directing, with a strong emphasis on listening, presence, enemble awareness, and responding truthfully in the moment. His classes are known for being rigorous, playful, and deeply supportive, creating an environment where students feel free to take risks, fail boldly, and grow quickly. Jeff believes that improvisation is not just a performance skill, but a powerful practice for creativity, connection, and confidence both onstage and off.
